BMO x Seeds of Fortune Inc. Girls Start Up Semi-Finals

Seeds of Fortune Inc. celebrated another milestone with the 8th Annual Girls Start-Up Business Plan Competition, hosted in partnership with BMO Capital Markets. This initiative challenges young women across the country to transform their social impact ideas into fully developed digital ventures, equipping them with the tools to bring their businesses to life.


BMO Capital Markets sponsored the semi-finals, where 20 finalists had the opportunity to pitch their business ideas in Miami, Florida. Industry leaders from BMO, served as judges, providing invaluable insights and feedback to the participants.


Through this competition, Seeds of Fortune Inc. and BMO continue to foster the next generation of women entrepreneurs, ensuring they have the resources, mentorship, and exposure needed to thrive in the business world.

From the 20 aspiring entrepreneurs who traveled to Miami, 10 standout businesses were chosen by the BMO Judges Committee to advance to the final pitch round. These finalists competed for $12,000 in cash prizes, generously provided by the Grant Cardone Foundation, bringing them one step closer to turning their ventures into reality.
